Antonio Rizzo Violins,
over the past 29 years, has offered fine quality
instruments at affordable prices, having workmanship and tone
characteristics at levels looked for by fine musicians. The models
selected for most of the inventory have been repeatedly built over past
years, developing a level of perfection. Antonio’s reputation has been
built by producing fine quality instruments and satisfied customers,
with clients in the United States, Europe and Japan.
Only the best obtainable tone woods and materials are typically selected
for each instrument’s structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. The
woods used are obtained from reputable European mills that harvest their
woods from Northern Italy, Bosnia and Romania, and have been naturally
aged for many years. The varnishes are made by Antonio, from recipes
using linseed oil and colophony. Colors are made from madder root,
processed into a lake, and alizarin rosinates that are added to the
varnish. |
